Lost Warning "same" 7" EP (orange Vinyl, incl. DL Code)

Ein weiterer schwedischer Neuzugang auf SPIRIT OF THE STREETS: Wir begrüßen LOST WARNING aus Malmö! 2013 gegründet, im selben Jahr wieder umbesetzt und bereits mit diversen Veröffentlichungen in der Diskographie ausgestattet: Demo CD (2013), „Never surrender“ 7“ (2014), Split 7“ mit AVGA (2015), V/A „Chaos in Sweden 2“ (2015).

Die Band sieht ihren Sound selbst als „Mischung aus OXYMORON und PERKELE“, das können wir guten Gewissens mit dickem Marker unterschreiben. Passt! Der aggressiv-heisere Gesang erinnert durchaus an OXY-Sucker und die treffsichere Rechts-Links-Kombination aus Melodie und Wut kennen wir vom Göteborg-Trio. Dazu kommt noch eine deftige Portion Stadion-Feeling und fertig ist das LOST WARNING-Trademark. Frei nach der Formel „Fußball, Working Class und Bier“ gibt es auf ihrer s/t 7“ „Beer tasting songs with lots of melodies and singalong choruses“. Insgesamt 4 Songs in englischer Sprache, mit raubeinigem Straßenfeeling und knackiger Produktion gesegnet. Textlich gibt es patente Rundumschläge gegen Kriegsverbrecher in Ost und Nahost („War criminals“) sowie alkoholisierte Quertreiber („Speak up, shut up“), „Another dead small town“ trägt die Botschaft bereits im Titel und „Terraces“ ist ein leidenschaftlichen Lobgesang auf Fußball inklusive Drumherum im COCKNEY REJECTS Style.
Vor LOST WARNING haben die vier Jungs übrigens bereits musikalische Erfahrungen bei THE NEGATIVES, ROYAL STAKEOUT und CDCP gesammelt, was unschwer zu hören ist.

Another Swedish newcomer on the SPIRIT OF THE STREETS roster: Welcome LOST WARNING from Malmö! Founded in 2013, feat. former members of THE NEGATIVE, ROYAL STAKEOUT and CDCP, already with various releases under their belt: Demo CD (2013), "Never surrender" 7 "(2014), Split 7" with AVGA (2015), V / A "Chaos in Sweden 2"(2015).
The band describe their sound as „fusion of OXYMORON and PERKELE" and that’s right. It fits very well! The vocals reminded to OXY’s own Sucker and the knockin’ left-right combination of melody and rage we know from the Gothenburg trio. Add to that a hefty dose of stadium feeling and there goes your LOST WARNING Trademark. "Football, Working Class and beer“: That’s the formula of their s/t 7“. "Beer tasting songs with lots of melodies and singalong choruses ". A total of 4 songs (sung in English) with a honest street wise feel and tight production. Lyrically it goes against War crimes in the East and the Middle East ("War Criminals“), full mouthed assholes („Speak up, shut up"), "Another dead Smalltown" has the message in the title and "Terraces" is a passionate Football anthem in COCKNEY REJECTS style.
