Perkele "Perkele Forever" CD

With "Perkele forever", Ron & Co. are now returning to their old strengths: excellent singalong hymns with a guaranteed catchy tune, embedded in accurate, straightforward Swedish melodies. The album contains a total of 10 of these highly melodic punk rock hits, chart breakers played perfectly and casually to the point. Only the mighty Cock Sparrers come to mind; you are reminded of them very pleasantly in the final song "Always coming back". In her texts, Perkele remained true to herself and her fans, down-to-earth scene statements on a 100% working class basis under the classic motto "Havin' a laugh and havin' a say!" In "Punk Rock Army" Ron proclaims the Perkele recipe: "With the power of the songs we gonna knock 'em out!" and the chorus of "Always coming back" contains the great promise "We are always coming back again to sing along with you, ....This is what we love to do!" This time the band is discreetly supported by a few guest musicians on the piano, violin and mandolin.
