Lost Warning "same" 7" EP (orange vinyl, incl. DL code)

Another Swedish newcomer to SPIRIT OF THE STREETS: We welcome LOST WARNING from Malmö! Founded in 2013, changed line-up again in the same year and already has various releases in the discography: Demo CD (2013), “Never surrender” 7” (2014), Split 7” with AVGA (2015), V/A “Chaos in Sweden 2” (2015).

The band sees their sound as a “mixture of OXYMORON and PERKELE”, and we can sign that with a thick marker with a clear conscience. Fits! The aggressive, hoarse singing is definitely reminiscent of OXY-Sucker and we know the accurate right-left combination of melody and anger from the Gothenburg Trio. Add to that a hearty portion of stadium feeling and the LOST WARNING trademark is ready. Based on the formula “football, working class and beer”, their s/t 7” features “beer tasting songs with lots of melodies and singalong choruses”. A total of 4 songs in English, blessed with a rough street feeling and crisp production. Lyrically there are patent all-round attacks against war criminals in the East and the Middle East (“War criminals”) as well as drunken obstructors (“Speak up, shut up”), “Another dead small town” has the message in the title and “Terraces” is a passionate hymn of praise on football including all the trimmings in COCKNEY REJECTS style.
Before LOST WARNING, the four guys had already gained musical experience with THE NEGATIVES, ROYAL STAKEOUT and CDCP, which is easy to hear.

The band describe their sound as "fusion of OXYMORON and PERKELE" and that's right. It fits very well! The vocals reminded to OXY's own Sucker and the knockin' left-right combination of melody and rage we know from the Gothenburg trio. Add to that a hefty dose of stadium feeling and there goes your LOST WARNING trademark. "Football, Working Class and beer": That's the formula of their s/t 7". "Beer tasting songs with lots of melodies and singalong choruses". A total of 4 songs (sung in English) with an honest street wise feel and tight production.
