HOITER DIPOITER (common for “topsy-turvy”) from Nordhausen, Thuringia. Stormy street rock with bite, anthems for wild youth. The alternative to Lady Gaga and Jennifer Rostock, angry rhymes in angry times. HOITER DIPOITER don't mince words and call a spade a spade. "100% politically uninterested". But also 100% socially critical. And 100% non-conformist. "Completely free, and not written beforehand, the rocky path straight ahead, happiness coupled with lashes..."
Their street sound is a compact mix of classic punk and hearty Oi!, mixed with a pinch of hardcore/metal/MOTÖRHEAD, garnished with a solid local flavor. Earthbound. Angry. Managing the musical heritage of the BÖHSEN ONKELZ, refreshed by current influences: KRAWALLBRÜDER, PÖBEL & GESOCKS, TROOPERS, 4 PROMILLE etc. They speak the language of the street, they know the street: founded in 2004, known nationally at least since the split with the ROUGHNECKS ( 2008). They separated shortly afterwards and made a comeback in 2010. 2012 the new album. “Let’s get going!” delivers 12 gripping "heart-blooded" rockers in high-quality execution: powerful vocals, driving double bass, powerful metallic riffs, delicate guitar leads, rousing melodies. A strong album for underdogs, lateral thinkers and outsiders.
