A BAND AS A WEAPON

"Food for the rejected" is Grober Knüppel's next punch in the direction of the establishment. A bomb in the direction of the current, media-believing society dominated by greed and selfishness and the leaders who use them. FFDA is an album with several facets. On the one hand, a dark, bitter, apocalyptic work. On the other hand, it still has light, humor and bite. It is realistic, hard and mercilessly contemporary. The finger is not just placed in the wound, it is poked around vigorously. From the human to the anti-human.

Traditionally, the typical GK influences from hardcore, punk, metal and crossover of the 90s are on an equal footing with more unusual influences. The individual song is still in the foreground. Another tradition that was common in the 80s and 90s.

The band has improved significantly in terms of sound. A modern, very powerful sound and a production that obviously stands out from the previous albums.
FFDA is a mixture of monster and manifesto. The black, wildly pumping heart of a fighter. Designed for those who put on their boxing gloves when they get up instead of just enduring and ultimately giving up. Or, to put it succinctly in the words of GK singer van der Lubbe: "For me, the band is my weapon to counteract this, so that I don't go crazy here."
