Stomper 98 "Altherbrought" LP (lim. 500, gold)

This is the best STOMPER 98 record in 20 years of band history, and, even if these comparisons are of course always very subjective, one of, if not THE, best German Oi! Album from the last 15 or 20 years. From the first note it becomes clear: an Oi! Record in the best “Böhse people, Böhse songs” tradition. No room for German rock borrowings, no "ruffian with a heart" whining, no apologetic text modules, pure energy, euphoria dominates here, this is skinhead, this is STOMPER 98. And it's a bit more powerful than in "For eternity" times. The guitars engage in an aggressive melodic duel, the drums and bass drive endlessly, the vocals are nasty, clear, stirring and the smartly interspersed saxophone accompanies in exactly the right places. Here one hit really follows the other, comparisons are unnecessary but are still obvious: clearly the 80s, a little French Oi! and for the younger audience you can bring names like LION'S LAW into play, but the bottom line is: This is the new STOMPER 98.
