3 years after the release of the last DARK SHADOW album 'AUTUMN STILL...', the brand new solo record by Australian style icon BRIGITTE HANDLEY is now being released Europe-wide exclusively on HALB 7 RECORDS. The new album 'The Edge of Silence' contains, in addition to an exclusive and extravagant cover version of KRAFTWERK's 'the model' (...he is the model...), nine wonderfully staged reinterpretations of the most beautiful DARK SHADOWS songs. The new versions are a perfect synthesis of Brigitte's unique, smoky, seductive vocals with an acoustic guitar sound. The attractive melodies are aesthetically enhanced by atmospheric synthesizer and electronically generated soundscapes as well as soft bass lines.
