“Sin vergüenza” (“Without Shame”): The first full album by the skinhead quartet from Madrid. Last April we released their debut 7″ on our label, the band made its first mark and was remembered as hopeful. This hope is not disappointed with “Sin vergüenza”: dynamic, jagged “old school” skinhead rock'n'roll full of singalongs and melodies, here and there with relaxed offbeat parts. Traditional and refreshing at the same time, 10 Spanish-language songs with a clear position: “Oi! fights racism”. Musically it doesn't fit into any standard drawer; comparisons aren't really easy here. It's reminiscent of the creative mid-80s, when the bands at the time had role models, but didn't necessarily sound like them. Role model as inspiration and orientation, not a blueprint or copy template. KNOCK OUT name various role models (KOMINTERN SECT, PERKELE, CAMERA SILENS, BOMBARDIERS) and have compressed them into their own mixture. Hard to explain, just try it out. In addition to their own songs, there is also a cover of the Laurel Aitken classic “Skinhead”, with Roddy Moreno (THE OPPRESSED) helping out on guest vocals.
